Ian Rankin LET IT BLEED Signed Paperback

First edition, first print paperback of LET IT BLEED (An Inspector Rebus Novel) by Ian Rankin and published by Orion Books in 1995. Signed by Rankin (and with the hangman doodle) on the title page.

The book is in very good condition with light creasing to the spine which has a very slight lean. The page edges are also lightly age tanned. Internally, the pages have light yellowing but are tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.

Struggling through another Edinburgh winter Rebus finds himself sucked into a web of intrigue that throws up more questions than answers. Was Lord Provost's daughter kidnapped or just another runaway? Why should Councillor Tom Gillespie be shredding documents that were waste paper from a fraud case years old? And why is Rebus himself suddenly invited to a clay pigeon shoot at the stately home of the Scottish Office's Permanent Secretary, Sir Iain Hunter?
