First edition first print hardback of JOURNEY THROUGH A SEASON by Ian Hall and published by The Breedon Books Publishing Company Limited in 1997. Signed 'Best Wishes' and year dated by Hall on the title page.

The book is in very good condition (black cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine) with very light rubbing to the edges of the front board and light creasing to the top and bottom of the spine. The book is in a very good unclipped dust jacket which has light creasing to the edges. Internally the pages are lightly age tanned but otherwise clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.

Season 1996-97 was Derby County's first in the Premiership. It was also their last at the Baseball Ground, that cramped theatre that has bulbed and crackled on many an afternoon and night of football stretching back over a century.
