First edition first print hardback of DREAMS OF EXILE (a biography of Robert Louis Stevenson) by Ian Bell and published by Mainstream Publishing Company in 1992. Signed by Bell on the title page. Uncommon signed.The book is in very good- condition (black cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine) with minor creasing to the top and bottom of the spine and light bumping to the bottom corners of the front and back boards and a small dent to the bottom of the front board. The book is in a very good unclipped dust jacket which has minor creasing to the edges. Internally the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.
