First edition first print hardback of OLD TIME COMEDIAN by Harry Randall and published by Sampson Low, Marston & Co Ltd (no date). Signed to a previous owner and dated Jan 1931 by Randall on the front endpaper. Previous owner gift inscription also on the front endpaper and pencilled notes on the front pastedown. Very occasional margin notes in pencil.The book is in good condition (black cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine) with a thumbnail tear to the top spine ridge, bumping and rubbing to corners, a smudge of what looks like white paint to the spine, foxing to the first couple of pages and a little age tanning around the page edges. Lacking the dust jacket. Internally the pages are otherwise clean and tight.
