The book is in good condition (maroon cloth covers with gilt lettering to spine and front and gilt illustration to front board) with the following imperfections: the front endpaper is missing; there is no dust jacket; half a dozen pages have closed tears, though no text or illustrations are affected; some foxing to page edges and to the first 8 pages or so. Otherwise clean and tight internally with no other inscriptions.
