The book is in very good condition (red boards with black lettering to spine) with creasing to the top and bottom of the spine. The book is in a very good price-clipped dust jacket which is protected in an archival sleeve and has creasing to the top of the front cover and bottom of the back cover, tops of the front and rear inner flaps and top and bottom of the spine. Internally, the pages are lightly tanned but otherwise clean and tight and there are no tears or inscriptions.

Few of the thousands of books on this complex subject of motor sport have successfully compressed so much into a volume of this size, which covers motor racing in considerable depth and defines other forms of motor sport concisely.
