First edition first print hardback of ANGELS PASSING by Graham Hurley and published by Orion in 2002. Signed by Hurley on the title page.The book is in very good condition (blue cloth boards with silver lettering to spine) with light creasing to the top and bottom of the spine and some very light bumping to the bottom corner of the front board. The page edges are age tanned. The book is in a very good unclipped dust jacket which has light creasing to the top and bottom of the spine, bottom of the front cover and top of the back cover. There is a light indentation to the edge of the spine on the back cover, which also has some light scratch marks. Internally the pages are lightly age tanned but clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.
Angels Passing is a crime novel of breathtaking pace and real emotion. It gives a harrowing picture of a society in freefall and of a city that might just be tough enough to survive the impact.
