First edition first print hardback of THE TENTH MAN by Graham Greene and published by The Bodley Head and Anthony Blond in 1985.

The book is in very good condition (green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine) with light creasing to the top and bottom of the spine. The book is in a very good clipped dust jacket which has light creasing to the top and bottom of the spine and back cover. There is also a very light crease to the edge of the spine on the back cover. The page edges are lightly age tanned. Internally the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears or inscriptions.

During World War II a group of men are held prisoner by the Germans, who determine that three of them must die. This is the story of how one of those men trades his wealth for his life and lives to pay for his act in utterly unexpected ways.
