The three books are:

IN SEARCH OF GREENER GRASS - First edition first printing, published by Matador in 2012. Signed by Graham Field on the title page. ISBN: 9781780880884

One of the most critically acclaimed motorcycle travel books of recent times.

Grand plans on a five grand budget.

Dispelling the myth that only the wealthy, famous or sponsored can do over land travel. The story of a solo overland motorcycle ride on a KLR 650 from the South East of England to the South East of Russia and beyond.

Not just another self inflated book of bragging ego boasting achievements but an open honest account; written with a dry and cynical wit, but punctuated, with experience, frustration, appreciation, sarcasm, respect, intolerance and a little hard earned wisdom.

A must for anyone considering riding off for a bit. Cut through all the crap on the internet, the opinions of the nay doers, the designer accessory addicts and the self proclaimed 'adventures'. Buy time not equipment.

This book inadvertently works as a guide to preparation, destination, bike and budget but ultimately is a very humorous description of what you might see, hear, feel, witness, think and experience on your bike, inside your helmet whilst generally heading in an easterly direction.

UREKA - First edition first printing, published by Shuvvy Press in 2014. Signed by Graham Field on the title page. ISBN: 9780956430533. Bit of staining to top front page edges, no text affected.

After the success of his first book 'In Search of Greener Grass', Graham Field hits the road again with his bargain-basement KLR650, recording his experiences in his inimitable and revealingly honest diary style.

The Caucasus region is often overlooked by travellers, but Graham may inadvertently be about to change all that. A single pivotal moment can transform any journey, on this occasion a significant U turn became a real eureka moment.

The result ensures a fantastic exploration of Eastern Europe and beyond, the discovery of a hidden gem in Georgia and meanderings that leave us all much richer.

Who tries to get deep into Iraq just to see if the news reports are accurate, ends up joining a street demonstration against someone else's government or sticks their arm between the jaws of a wild mountain wolf-dog?

Ultimately, Ureka is an almost accidental realisation that we cannot control our mood on the road, but merely embracing this can be the most enlightening travel experience of all.

U-turn if I want to, is that what I should do? The words rang a distant bell. I can't decide if turning suggests rebellious failure or submissive success, not that it matters. With my determined aspirations I'd overcome the challenges of terrain, bureaucracy, navigation and heat as I rode to the Caspian Sea; it was just that ellusive satisfaction that I couldn't find.

If all my experience had thought me one thing, I'd be buggered if I knew what it was. I had all the usual ingredients, my trusty KLR, a little bit of money, plenty of time and lots of new countries to ride through. I transited through Bulgaria resisting its long stay temptations, took an excursion into humbling Iraq, then wound on up through the wild surprises of Eastern Turkey on the way to Georgia. In Azerbaijan I turned the plan and the map round. It wasn't just the journey that took a different direction, everything changed... If there's one thing I've learnt on the road it's that I never stop learning. Some things are not meant to be and others are; the trick is finding the line between desire and contentment, then riding it.

DIFFERENT NATURES - First edition first printing, published by Little m Press in 2015. Signed by Graham Field on the title page. ISBN: 9780993199301. Small stain on front pages edges, no text affected.

A compelling account of three epic motorcycle journeys covering 25,000 miles from the Alaskan Arctic Circle to Southern Mexico over a twelve year period.

Discovering the different natures in character as the rider reluctantly matures, as well as in the extreme, unpopulated terrains he transverses.

This, his third book (In Search of Greener Grass & Ureka), reflects on the conception of Grahams motorcycle wanderlust, and what continues to fuel his addiction for wild destinations.

With a real zest for life, Graham Field is an immensely likeable and engaging character. Just the person to guide you through locations that you may never get a chance to see, from midnight sun to darkest skies.

Surprising. Funny. Opinionated. Vivid. RiDE Magazine

Different Natures takes you on three journeys. Each gives an honest and passionate insight into the evolution of a compulsive traveller. Looking for direction with the wrong eyes spawned Grahams lust for wandering, the miles cleared his vision and the hunger for longer distance grows with an insatiable appetite for new experiences.

Based on his diaries spanning a twelve year period of travel from the Arctic Circle to Mexico, Graham Fields journeys are his life. Inevitably these experiences increase his awareness as he passes through various natures of both a reluctant maturity and the extreme environments between his destinations.

From midnight sun to darkest nights, theres as much diversity in these tales as common threads

Three very different journeys on three very different bikes each of which had varying degrees of suitability. His initial drug induced escapism led to bigger ideas, distances and durations. Eventually finding a reality and gaining the wisdom of perspective, coming to terms with his love hate relationship with the human race and its impact on the planet.

Graham Fields beloved bargain basement Kawasaki KLR650 (bought for ?700 off eBay) has taken him to more than 40 countries covering over 65,000 miles, across Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Siberian Russia, Iraq, Armenia and Guatemala to name but a few.
