First edition first print hardback of THE SEVENTH MAN: My Part in the Defection Scandal, by Graeme Garden and published by Eyre Methuen in 1981. Signed by Garden on the title page.

The book is in very good condition (maroon cloth boards with silver lettering to spine) with light general wear, pages lightly tanned towards the edges. The book is in a very good unclipped dust jacket which has light creasing to the edges. Internally the pages are otherwise clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.

A spoof novel on the Burgess and Maclean defection scandal (aka Sturgess and McBain), narrated by the main character, Geoffrey T. Alsop.
