Gothic Horizon THE JASON LODGE POETRY BOOK Vinyl LP First Pressing

33rpm 13-track LP Record of ZFB 26 THE JASON LODGE POETRY BOOK, by Gothic Horizon (Andy Desmond and Richard Garrett). It was issued on the stereo yellow ARGO label in 1970 (on the label and 1971 on the sleeve notes). First UK pressing. Matrices ZRG 3457 1W/ZRG 3458 1W.

The record itself is graded excellent, with no more than the odd light surface mark when viewed under normal house lighting. Superb sound quality, with NO jumps, ticks or pops and only very occasional very light crackle. Just about faultless playback.

Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels very clean. Light spider marks.

The colourful outer sleeve is graded very good, with some light wear and is slightly soiled. The plain inner sleeve has no wear to speak of.

This is something of a folk classic and is becoming hard to find, especially a UK first pressing as this is. The musicians featured on the album are: Andy Desmond, Mark Helme, Ron Lawrence, Gray Richardson, Ian Cameron, Eli Bickerstaffe, Jean Baptiste, Mike Simmons and The Yetties.
