The books are in very good condition for their age (quarterbound green boards with cream spines) with foxing to the spines. Rough cut fore and bottom page edges. Volume 2 has uncut top page edges. The unclipped dust jackets are also in very good condition with light general wear, the odd nick and closed tear. Internally the pages are clean and tight with no tears or other inscriptions. Overall, a very presentable set.
