George Michael BARE First Edition Second Print

First edition, second print hardback of BARE by George Michael and Tony Parsons and published by Michael Joseph in 1990. Overall a very nice copy of this hard to find title.

The book is in very good+ condition (grey cloth boards with gold lettering to spine) with no more than very light handling and storage wear. The book is in a very good unclipped dust jacket light creasing to the edges. Internally, the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears or inscriptions.

Bare is a unique collaboration between one of the world's biggest rock stars, George Michael, and award-winning journalist, Tony Parsons, which completely transcends normal rock biography. For the first time, George Michael has discussed frankly, with Tony Parsons, all aspects of his life and his rise to fame. Using an effective mix of biography and George Michael's own words, Tony Parsons has examined how George Michael transformed himself from a shy, bespectacled teenager from Bushey, Hertfordshire, called Georgios Panayiotou, into an extraordinarily gifted songwriter and one of rock's most successful acts.

230 pages including black & white photographs, plus Acknowledgements, Preface and Lyrics.
