First edition, first print hardback of FABULOUS FOOD - Accompanies the TV Series - by Gary Rhodes and published by BBC Books, London in 1997. Signed by Gary Rhodes on the half title page. Photographs by Sandra Lane.The book is in very good condition (Clean bright orange cloth boards, silver lettering on the spine) with only slight wear to the pictorial dust jacket, which is not price clipped (light creasing mainly around the spine edges and very slight at the back and front). Internally, the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears and no other inscriptions.
Gary Rhodes is one of Britain's best-loved chefs. One of the engineers of the Great British Revival of good food, his success includes two Michelin stars-one at the Castle Hotel in Somerset, England, and another at the Greenhouse, in London. He has also won the prestigious Catey Special Award, the British catering industry's equivalent to the Oscars. He has written five cookbooks and produced five television series, including one for children based of Roald Dahl's Revolting Recipes. He runs a highly successful restaurant, City Rhodes, just of London's Fleet Street.
