First UK edition first print hardback of CLARIEL (the prequel to the Old Kingdom trilogy) by Garth Nix and published by Hot Key Books in 2014. Signed by Nix on the title page. Single digit '1' on the copyright page indicating a first printing.

The book is in very good+ condition (black cloth boards with silver lettering to spine) with no more than light general wear. The book is in a very good+ unclipped dust jacket which also has no more than light general storage and handling wear. Internally the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.

Sixteen-year-old Clariel is not adjusting well to her new life in the city of Belisaere, the capital of the Old Kingdom. She misses roaming freely within the forests of Estwael, and she feels trapped within the stone city walls.
