First edition first print hardback of COPRA AND PEARL by Frederick James Hill and published by Richard G. Badger in 1930. Signed to a previous owner by Hill on the front endpaper.

The book is in very good condition for its age (blue cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and front) with light creasing to the top and bottom edges of the spine, age tanning to the pages and page edges as well as very lightly bowed boards. No dust jacket. Internally the pages are otherwise clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.

A collection of poems featuring various indigenous communities from countries such as Tahiti, Guinea, Fiji, New Zealand and more.
