The book is in near fine condition (pictorial cloth boards with gilt lettering to leatherbound spine) with no significant wear. The book is in a very good slipcase that has slight rubbing to the edges and very light bumping here and there.

A vivid description of the six months spent in captivity by the author, a captain of the Spanish occupying force in Chile in the early 1600s.
