First edition first print hardback of THE MYSTERY OF GEORGES SIMENON (A Biography) by Fenton Bresler and published by Heinemann/ Quixote Press in 1983. Signed, dated and inscribed to a previous owner by Bresler on the title page. Included is a letter to the same owner which authenticates the signature.The book is in very good condition (navy blue cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine) with light bumping here and there. The book is in a very good unclipped dust jacket which is protected in an archival sleeve and has light creasing to edges and a couple of brown stains near the top of the front cover. Internally the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.
