Elie Wiesel THE TOWN BEYOND THE WALL First Edition

First edition first print hardback of THE TOWN BEYOND THE WALL by Elie Wiesel (translated by Stephen Becker) and published by Robson Books in 1975. Appears to be a review copy and includes the publisher's slip asking for two reviews.

The book is in near fine condition (blue cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine) with light bumping here and there. The book is in a very good unclipped dust jacket which has light rubbing and creasing to the edges. Internally the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears or inscriptions.

Story based on Wiesel's own life in which a young Holocaust survivor returns to his hometown, seeking to understand the mystery of those who stood by and watched.
