First edition second impression hardback of NO REGRETS (Memoirs of the Earl of Carnarvon) by The Earl of Carnarvon and published by Weidenfeld & Nicolson in 1976.

The book is in very good condition (cream cloth boards with red and black lettering to spine) with light bumping to the top corner of the front board and light creasing to the top and bottom of the spine. There is also some very light browning to the bottom edges of both boards and spine. The book is in a good unclipped dust jacket which has light creasing to the top of the front cover and top and bottom of the spine and back cover, along with a one inch closed tear to the bottom of the spine which has some light colour fading. The page edges are lightly age tanned. Internally the pages have lightly yellowed but are clean and tight and there are no tears or inscriptions.

This is one of the most enchanting and self-revealing autobiographies to be written about a way of life which is fast vanishing, and which one could well say was the last link of the feudal system. In Lord Carnarvon's own words, 'Notwithstanding the many follies that I have committed, I must confess that on balance I have No Regrets'.
