First edition first print hardback of TRADITION AND GIGLI (A Panegyric) by E. Herbert-Caesari and published by Robert Hale Ltd in 1958. Signed and dated (with best wishes to a previous owner) by Herbert-Caesari on the front endpaper.The book is in very good condition (blue cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine) with light bumping to the corners and light scuffing to the edges. The book is in a very good- unclipped dust jacket which is protected in an archival sleeve and has light creasing here and there and a 1-inch closed tear to the front. Internally the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.
