First edition first print hardback of LONGSHOT by Dick Francis and published by Michael Joseph in 1990. Signed to a previous owner by Francis on the title page.

The book is in near fine condition (black cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine) with no significant wear apart from slight yellowing around the page edges. The book is in a near fine unclipped dust jacket which has very light creasing to the edges. Internally the pages are otherwise clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.

A starving writer turns to work that will at least pay the bills, but he soon discovers the perils of rural England. His agent had warned that his impulses would kill him, but he didn't listen - not by a longshot.
