First edition first print hardback of THE RAINBOW PEOPLE OF GOD (South Africa's victory over apartheid) by Desmond Tutu, edited by John Allen, Foreword by Nelson Mandela and published by Doubleday in 1994. Signed and dated by Tutu on the title page.The book is in very good condition (grey cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine) with some light rubbing to the edges, minor scuff marks to the front page edges, light creasing to the head and tail of the spine and age tanning to the pages as is common for this title. The book is in a very good unclipped dust jacket which has light creasing to the edges. Internally the pages are otherwise clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.
