First edition first print hardback of CRESSIDA'S BED by Desmond Barry and published by Jonathan Cape in 2004. Signed to a previous owner by Barry on the title page. Numberline is 2 4 6 8 10 9 7 5 3 1.The book is in very good condition (black cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine) with light creasing to the top and bottom of the spine and a small indentation to the front edge of the front board which also has two small white stains to the bottom edge. The book is in a very good unclipped dust jacket which has light creasing to the top and bottom of the front and back covers and spine. There is light age spotting to the page edges, with heavier spotting to the top page edges. Internally the pages are very lightly age tanned but clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.
