Full numberline 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 on the copyright page.The book is in very good condition (black cloth boards with gold lettering to spine) with just a bit of light wear to the dust jacket, which is not price clipped (slight creasing to edges). Internally, the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears and no other inscriptions. There is some tanning to page edges.
The Star Kingdom of Manticore is once again at war with the Republic of Haven after a stunning sneak attack. The graduating class from Saganami Island, Royal Manticoran Navy's academy, are going straight from the classroom to the blazing reality of all-out war.
Except for the midshipmen assigned to the heavy cruiser HMS Hexapuma, that is. They're being assigned to the Talbott Cluster, an out of the way backwater, far from the battle front.
