David Shepherd AN ARTIST IN AFRICA Signed Hardback

Fifth edition third reprint hardback of AN ARTIST IN AFRICA by David Shepherd (with Foreword by The Duke of Edinburgh and Introduction by Nigel Sitwell) and published by Collins in association with The Tyron Gallery in 1989. Signed to a previous owner by Shepherd on the title page.

The book is in fine condition (cream cloth boards with brown lettering to spine) with no significant wear. The book is in a fine unclipped dust jacket which also has no wear to speak of. Internally the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.

There are many ways of telling people about the things you believe in, but few can be as effective as David Shepherd's paintings. With canvas and brush, he says more about his lifelong passion - Africa and its animals - than a thousand books could ever do.

Unpaginated.
