33rpm LP Record of CSD 1503 BRITISH LIGHT MUSIC OF THE 20TH CENTURY, featuring the Pro Arte Orchestra conducted by George Weldon. It was issued on the Stereo EMI first pressing gold and green label in 1963. UK pressing. Garrod & Lofthouse flipback sleeve. Composers include: Elgar, German, Fletcher, Quilter, Collins, Curzon, Coates.The record itself is graded a bit less than excellent, with one or two light surface marks/scratches visible when viewed under normal house lighting. Play-tested on a USB turntable. Superb sound quality, with NO jumps, repetitive ticks, or crackle and only an occasional light dust pop. Otherwise just about faultless playback.
Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels clean. No discernible spider marks.
The outer flipback sleeve is graded very good with some light wear (bumping to corners, rubbing to front open edge, age browning/light soiling to back cover). The spine is intact and strong with no loss to the lettering. The inner sleeve has no wear to speak of.
