33rpm Two LP Record Set of CSD 1458-1459 Gilbert and Sullivan THE MIKADO, featuring John Holmes, John Wakefield, Clive Revill, Denis Dowling, Marion Studholme, Patricia Kern, Dorothy Nash with the Sadler's Wells Orchestra conducted by Alexander Faris. It was issued on the Stereo EMI first pressing green & gold label in 1962. UK pressing. E J Day flipback sleeves.

The records themselves are graded excellent, with the odd light surface mark visible when viewed under normal house lighting. Play-tested on a USB turntable. Superb sound quality, with NO jumps, repetitive ticks or crackle and just the odd light pop. Otherwise more or less faultless playback.

Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels very clean. Light spider marks.

The outer flipback sleeves are also graded excellent with just a little light wear. The spines are intact and strong with no loss to the lettering. The inner sleeves have no wear to speak of apart from a couple of small centre tears.
