First edition first print hardback of THE AFFIRMATION by Christopher Priest and published by Faber and Faber Limited in 1981.The book is in near fine condition (purple cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine) with very light age tanning to the pages. The book is in a near fine clipped dust jacket (with publisher's price sticker attached to the inner flap) which has light creasing to the top and bottom of the front cover and top edge of the spine and front inner flap. Internally the pages are otherwise clean and tight and there are no tears or inscriptions.
