A Box Set of THREE 33rpm LP Records of CBS 79355 MAHLER SONG CYCLES (Liederzyklen), featuring the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra/New York Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Leonard Bernstein and the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Andrew Davis. The singers include Janet Baker, Walter Berry, Rene Kollo, Christa Ludwig and Frederica Von Stade. It was issued on the Stereo CBS Masterworks label in 1983. Included is an 18-page booklet containing background notes and lyrics in German, English and French.The records themselves are graded better than excellent, with no visible marks when viewed under normal domestic lighting. Superb sound quality, with NO jumps, ticks, pops or crackle. Just about faultless playback.
Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels very clean, no discernible spider marks.
The box is graded excellent, clean and sturdy, with no wear to speak of. The inner sleeves are also in excellent condition and the booklet also has no wear to speak of. All in all it would be very difficult to find a better copy of this particular item.
