First edition first print hardback of KINGFISHER MILL by Aylmer Tryon (with Foreword by Lord Home and illustrations by Rodger McPhail) and published by Collins in 1985. Signed and dated by Tryon on the title page.

The book is in very good+ condition (brown cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine) with light bumping to the top and bottom edges of the spine. The book is in a very good unclipped dust jacket which has light creasing to the edges. Internally the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.

The author founded the Tryon Gallery in London in 1959, specialising 'in the work of natural history artists of national and international stature'. This book details the world of nature through the year around the mill house on the river Avon which he restored and which appeared in the Domesday Book.
