ASD 644 Delius CELLO CONCERTO Vinyl LP Du Pre

33rpm LP Record of ASD 644 Delius CELLO CONCERTO and Songs of farewell; A Song Before Sunrise, featuring Jacqueline Du Pre on cello, with the Royal Choral Society and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Sir Malcolm Sargent. It was issued on the stereo EMI first semi circle label in 1965. UK pressing.

The record itself is graded very good plus for Side 1 with two noticeable non-feelable marks and excellent for Side 2, with no more the odd light surface mark visible when viewed under normal house lighting. Play-tested on a USB turntable. Superb sound quality, with NO jumps, ticks or crackle and just one pop on Side One. Hardly worth mentioning. Otherwise stunning faultless playback.

Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels clean but with a tiny bit of 'bubbling' to the Side 2 label. Very light (hardly noticeable) spider marks.

The outer flipback sleeve is graded excellent, with no more than light handling, storage and age-related wear. The spine is intact and strong with no loss to the lettering. The inner sleeve has no wear to speak of.
