33rpm LP Record of ASD 3726 Tchaikovsky VIOLIN CONCERTO and Serenade melancolique featuring Itzhak Perlman on violin with the Philadelphia Orchestra conducted by Eugene Ormandy. It was issued on the stereo EMI label in 1979 (Side One has the black & white dog in stamp; Side Two has the later coloured dog in stamp). UK pressing. The record itself is graded excellent, with no more than the odd very light surface mark visible when viewed under normal house lighting. Play-tested on a USB turntable. Superb sound quality, with NO jumps, repetitive ticks or crackle and just a couple of light pops at the start of Side Two. Hardly worth mentioning. More or less faultless playback.
Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels clean. No discernible spider marks.
The outer sleeve is also graded excellent with no more than light handling and storage wear. The spine is intact and strong with no loss to the lettering. The inner sleeve has no wear to speak of.
