ASD 342 Bach CANTATA ARIAS Vinyl LP ED1 Fischer-Dieskau

33rpm LP Record of ASD 342 Bach CANTATA ARIAS featuring Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau with the Choir of St. Hedwig's Cathedral and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Karl Forster. It was issued on the stereo EMI white and gold label (ED1) in 1959. UK pressing. Garrod & Lofthouse flipback sleeve.

The record itself is graded excellent, with no more than the odd light surface mark visible when viewed under normal house lighting. Play-tested on a USB turntable. Superb sound quality, with NO jumps, repetitive ticks or crackle and just a very occasional very light tick. Hardly worth mentioning. Actually, more or less faultless playback.

Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels clean. No discernible spider marks.

The outer sleeve is graded a strong very good with just very light rubbing to edges and corners, again hardly worth mentioning. Neat previous owner ink stamp to back cover. The spine is intact and strong with no loss to the lettering. The inner sleeve has no wear to speak of.
