33rpm LP Record of ASD 3006 FANTASIA ON WELSH NURSERY TUNES, TRUMPET CONCERTO, CARILLONS FOR OBOE AND ORCHESTRA, FAIREST OF STARS by Grace Williams, featuring the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Sir Charles Groves, with Howard Snell on trumpet, Anthony Camden on oboe and Janet Price, soprano. It was issued on the Stereo EMI black & white dog in stamp label in 1974. UK pressing. TAS listed. Includes insert.
The record itself is graded at least excellent, with one or two light surface marks visible when viewed under normal house lighting. Play-tested on an AIWA turntable. Superb sound quality, with NO jumps, ticks, or crackle and just a very occasional light dust pop. Otherwise more or less faultless playback.
Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels very clean. No visible spider marks.
The outer sleeve is graded a strong very good, with no more than minor wear (light bumping to corners, faint ringwear, light age spotting to back cover). The spine is intact and strong with no loss to the lettering. The inner sleeve and insert have no wear to speak of.
