ASD 2857 Shostakovitch SYMPHONY NO 15 Vinyl LP

33rpm LP Record of ASD 2857 Shostakovitch SYMPHONY NO 15 featuring the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Maxim Shostakovitch plus String Quartet No 11 played by The Borodin Quartet. It was issued on the stereo EMI Melodiya label in 1972. UK pressing.

The record itself is graded excellent with no more than the odd light surface mark visible when viewed under normal house lighting. Play-tested on a USB turntable. Superb sound quality, with NO jumps, ticks or crackle and just a couple of pops on Side One. Hardly worth mentioning. Otherwise stunning faultless playback.

Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels clean. Very light (hardly noticeable) spider marks.

The outer sleeve is graded very good plus, with no more than light handling, storage and age-related wear. The spine is intact and strong with no loss to the lettering. The inner sleeve has light age-related browning.
