33rpm LP Record of ASD 2847 Vaughan Williams SERENADE LARK ASCENDING In the Fen Country, Norfolk Rhapsody, featuring Hugh Bean on violin (Lark Ascending) with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the New Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Sir Adrian Boult. It was issued on the stereo EMI black and white dog in stamp label in 1968. First UK pressing.

The record itself is graded excellent plus with the odd light surface mark visible when viewed under normal house lighting. Play-tested on an audio-technica turntable. Superb sound quality, with no issues. More or less faultless playback.

Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels clean. No discernible spider marks.

The outer sleeve is graded excellent, with no more than very light handling and storage wear. The spine is intact and strong with no loss to the lettering. The inner sleeve has some age tanning.
