ASD 2813 Tchaikovsky VIOLIN CONCERTO Vinyl Record

33rpm LP Record of ASD 2813 - Tchaikovsky: Violin Concerto; Saint-Saens: Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso; Chausson: Poeme, featuring the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by David Oistrakh, and the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Gennady Rozhdestvensky. The violinist is Igor Oistrakh. It was issued on the HMV/Melodya label in 1968. Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve. Recorded by Melodya in the USSR. Made and printed in Great Britain.

The record itself is in very good condition, with only one or two visible scratches/marks. Very good sound quality, with NO jumps, just one light pop and very occasional background crackle (otherwise it is a stunning recording). Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels very clean, extremely light spider marks.

The sleeve and original EMI inner sleeve are also in excellent condition, with just minor storage and handling wear (light bumping to corners/rubbing to edges). On the whole this is an excellent item.

Tracks are:

  • Tchaikovsky: Violin Concerto in D Major, opus 35
  • Saint-Saens: Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, opus 28
  • Chausson: Poeme
