33rpm LP Record of ASD 2422 Vaughan Williams SANCTA CIVITAS BENEDICITE, featuring Heather Harper, Ian Partridge, John Shirley-Quirk, the Bach Choir, with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by David Willcocks. It was issued on the stereo EMI red semi circle label in 1968. First UK pressing. TAS Listed. Includes insert.
The record itself is graded excellent plus with the odd light surface mark visible when viewed under normal house lighting. Play-tested on an audio-technica turntable. Superb sound quality, with no issues. More or less faultless playback.
Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels clean. No discernible spider marks.
The outer sleeve is graded very good, with no more than light handling, storage and age-related wear. The spine is intact and strong with no loss to the lettering. The inner sleeve has some age tanning. The booklet insert has no wear to speak of.
