First edition, first print hardback of ANGLING FOR BROWN TROUT by A.R. Harris Cass MBE and published by Herbert Jenkins Limited, London. No date given but stated "First Printing" on the copyright page (c. 1946). Photographs taken by the author.The book is in good condition (blue cloth boards and gold lettering on spine and the publisher's embossed stamp at the back cover) with only slight wear (slight creasing/ rubbing to the spine edges, slight bumping/ rubbing to the corners). No dust jacket. Internally, the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears and no inscriptions. Between the title page and the frontispiece page, there is slight spinal 'crack', but the pages are intact. There is very light tanning to the pages.
