Angie Sage SYREN First Edition Signed

First edition, first print hardback of SYREN (Septimus Heap, Book Five) by Angie Sage and published by Bloomsbury Publishing Plc, London in 2009. Signed and dated by Sage on the title page. Full numberline 1 3 5 7 9 10 8 6 4 2 on the copyright page.

The book is in fine condition (illustrated boards - design matches that on the dust jacket - with white and yellow lettering) with no noticeable wear to the unclipped dust jacket, which is protected in an archival sleeve. Internally, the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears and no other inscriptions.

Septimus is stranded on a remote island with his badly injured dragon, Spit Fyre, along with Jenna and Beetle. The island is captivatingly beautiful, one of seven set in a sparkling sea, but there is also something strange about it... not least the Magykal girl named Syrah, the cat-shaped lighthouse, and an eerie presence that sings to Septimus.

Trouble is also brewing for Lucy and Wolf Boy, who have become entangled with some nefarious sailors, and for Milo Banda, Jenna's father, who is harbouring a mysterious treasure chest in his ship's hold.

Join Septimus on his Magykal journey, for more totally fantastic laugh-out-loud adventure, spells and Darke goings-on.
