33rpm LP Record of ALP 1272 BEETHOVEN SONATAS No 23 in F minor OP. 57 & No 28 in A major OP. 101, featuring Solomon on pianoforte. It was issued on the mono Red & Gold EMI label some time in the 1950s. UK pressing.The record itself is graded a bit less than excellent, with one or two surface marks and scratches when viewed under normal house lighting. These do not produce any substantiallly adverse defects. Overall the sound quality is excellent, with NO jumps, or loud pops, no more than the odd soft tick and just light random crackle at the very start and end of each side. Otherwise extremely good considering it is almost 60 years old.
Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels very clean. No visible spider marks. Letters 'R' and 'T' stamped next to the spindle hole on the Side One label.
The outer sleeve is graded a strong very good, with just some light sticker removal wear in the top corner of the front cover, a couple of half-inch closed tears on the open edges, some light ring wear, a couple of edge chips and light bumping to corners. The original inner sleeve is also graded a strong very good, with no major signs of wear.
