Alex Higgins ALEX THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS First Edition Signed

First edition first print hardback of ALEX THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS (The Autobiography) by Alex Higgins (with Tony Francis) and published by Pelham Books in 1986. Signed to a previous owner by Higgins on the title page.

The book is in very good condition (green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine) - would be near fine but for a small dent to the top front board edge. The book is in a very good unclipped dust jacket which has some light creasing to the edges. Internally the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.

The autobiography of one of snooker's best known and most colourful figures who was probably the innovator of snooker as we know it today. He talks frankly and openly about many topics, including his often volatile association with the snooker establishment, his views on his contemporaries and up and coming young players, and on his past relationship with drugs and drink.

172 pages including Index. Illustrated with two sections of black & white photographs
