The book is in very good condition (red cloth boards with gilt lettering and motif to spine) with light bumping to corners and a tiny bit of creasing to the head and tail of the spine. The book is in a very good unclipped dust jacket which has light creasing and rubbing to edges. Internally, the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.

A Year in the Life is possibly the most personal and revealing football diary to have ever been published. It also happens to be by, and about, the most successful manager ever to have worked in the Premier League: Alex Ferguson.
