First edition first print hardback of THE CICADAS And Other Poems, by Aldous Huxley and published by Chatto and Windus in 1931.

The book is in very good condition (brown cloth boards) with no more than light creasing to the head and tail of the spine. The book is in a fair unclipped dust jacket which has fraying to the edges and sundry tears, one of them being a couple of inches long to the rear cover. Internally some of the pages have not been cut, so there are parts that are unread. The pages are otherwise clean and tight and there are no inscriptions.

A collection of thirty poems, of which thirteen were previously unpublished.
