Agatha Christie THIRD GIRL First Edition 1966

First edition, first print hardback of THIRD GIRL by Agatha Christie and published by Collins in 1966. Previous owner name and date on the front endpaper.

The book is in very good condition (red and black cloth boards with gold lettering to spine) with creasing to the top and bottom of the spine. The book is in a good unclipped dust jacket that has creasing to the top and bottom sides of the front cover, top of the back cover and top and bottom of the spine. There are two one inch closed tears to both rear top corners. The back inner flap has creasing to the top. Red stains are present on the central inner dust jacket to the top and bottom, probably as a result of bleeding from the boards. Internally, the pages are tanned but tight and there are no tears.

Third Girl features Agatha Christie's Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot, and his endeavours to solve a new and complex mystery surrounding Norma Restarick who believes she may have committted murder.
